The St Louis Atheletica started a Twitter contest to win free season tickets and be the official Twitterer for the Teams twitter account @TheoJoanies. And I was one of the top 10 finalists. Woo Hoo.
So bare in mind I will be posting more about soccer on here from now on. I played soccer all throughout my youth and still love the Beautiful game, better than most other sports, except maybe hockey. And know most of my online friends are not exactly Soccer fans, but hey this is my blog and I can do whatever I want on it.
Here is the contest rules:
Saint Louis Athletica announced today, Tuesday, December 1st, the Top 10 Finalists of the Athletica Twitter Contest. The Top 10 Finalists are now entered into the 2nd phase of the contest, which will begin today and run until December 24th. The winner will be chosen based on three criteria:
1. Number of soccer related tweets with #TheJoanies account mentioned (“TheJoanies” is hashed)
2. Creative nature of the tweets.
3. Total number of followers.The ultimate winner will be chosen and awarded two VIP Athletica Season Tickets on Christmas Eve and TheJoanies account will be turned over to the winner on January 1. There will be runner up prizes awarded as well.
