I really do like Penn and Teller and think that they try and make people think about things that you take for granite. I am not an Athiest as Penn Jillette is and disagree with many things he has to say politically. But with that, he always makes you think.
So Penn Jillette was dong a show with Tommy Smothers, and yelled and screamed at by Tommy because he had the audacity to be on Glenn Beck’s show. (I am not a big fan of Glenn Beck either, but he is there for a purpose and many people follow him religiously on the Right.) But to rail on someone for just going on a show and having a civil conversation about Atheism and Mormonism is just beyond the pale. And the sad part about all of this is Tommy Smothers is one of Penn’s idols.
Kind of make you wonder who the real haters are doesn’t it?????
